Our visits to The Queens Arms
The link below contains pictures taken in the bar/seating area. It is just a normal homely London pub. It is clear that the pub is unchanged and a check with the local planning office confirmed that the ground floor had never been changed since the time of the alleged incidents. So these photos show the pub as it was and you can see instantly that it isn't, and never was a 'tablecloth' type of pub.
Tonya Lee alleged that Rolf groped her under a tablecloth as she sat on his lap during a trip to the Queens Arms in Woolwich. She was part of a theatre group and the group met with Rolf at the end of a UK visit.
Lee tried to have us believe that the meeting with Rolf happened at the beginning of the trip, on the first day in fact, but she admitted in court that this wasn't true and it actually happened at the very end. Prior to her admitting she was 'wrong' about the dates she had claimed that it had ruined the trip, and she had lost a lot of weight during the trip as a consequence of Rolf's actions. As it was found that the pub visit was at the very end of the trip I have to ask why this glaring discrepancy in her story was overlooked by the jury and why they found Rolf guilty.
My suspicions about Tonya Lee were raised before the trial started because I saw her YouTube video account of the alleged assaults. What sparked my intrigue was her claim that Rolf groped her under a tablecloth. English pubs do not use tablecloths. It appears that Rolf's defence team didn't go to the pub and have a good look at it because nothing was reported to that effect regarding the trial.
I doubted very much that tablecloths would be used, but Tonya Lee is Australian and obviously doesn't know that English pubs don't use tablecloths. I found this a strange thing to say.
I have no idea if the police visited the pub and if they did they never presented the evidence in court. What I saw at the pub contradicts Tonya Lee's claims so perhaps the police did have a look but didn't report it....I have no idea.
I have visited the pub three times since Rolf's conviction because I don't live far from it, and I frankly do not believe Tonya Lee's story.
I photographed the pub and measured up the corridor in which one of the alleged assaults supposedly took place - have a look at what I found then ask yourselves why the police didn't do this work.

First let us have a look at her allegations and listen to what she actually says about the alleged assaults.
Tonya lee was interviewed by the Australian news programme A Current Affair. I first watched the video of this interview on YouTube many months in advance of Rolf being charged and a long time before the trial. Shortly before the trial the video disappeared but it emerged again after the trial in an edited form. The second emergence of the video in the link below has some very disturbing edits. The four main edits are;
It is worth asking ourselves WHY they made the edits....hmmm?

- 1 Reference to the duffel coat
- 2 The tablecloth
- 3 The main description of the pot plant
- 4 The weight loss

The original interview published pre trial The edited interview published post trial Floor plan of the toilet and corridor
Let's look at the interview more closely by clipping out the relevant extracts from the full interview and comparing them. Two clipped out sections are below.
At 4 minutes in she says Rolf put his hand down her pants. Then two minutes later in the SAME interview she says Rolf DIDN'T put his hand down her pants. Her first version is edited out of the 'A Current Affair' interview published post trial.
Watch them both and see for yourself.

A little later, Lee suddenly says that there was a tablecloth 'dangling down' and uses this as the reason nobody else saw her being groped. The clip below shows what she says, the photograph of the pub shows what the pub is like and the unlikelihood that there was a tablecloth. Pubs do not use tablecloths and this particular pub definitely doesn't.
Even so, two pairs of legs, one person on top of another's lap fitting under a table is implausible, and would the alleged tablecloth REALLY have dangled down?.....I don't think so! I went with two friends and they tried it. One sat on the others lap and tried to get their legs under the table and they couldn't, they had to sit back. No tablecloth would have reached, and even if it were big enough it would have had to have been lifted UP to cover two laps, NOT DANGLE DOWN! I find this so improbable that I frankly think Tonya Lee is lying.

The videos and photos below compound my belief that Tonya Lee fabricated this whole story. She talks of a pot plant in the clip above. Look at the clip and then look at the photo and video of the corridor and toilet door. Where exactly could a pot plant have possibly been? It is a narrow tight space with the corridor being only 33 inches wide, it is a busy walkway to the kitchen and stairs to the upper floor, it also has a swing door that would have prevented anything from being in the space behind it..........see for yourself.
The photographs on the right are stills taken from a phone camera which was filming as my friend walked through the pub. We did a floor plan of this area and we need to stress just how small and narrow this corridor is, and there is no way there could have been a pot plant anywhere in this corridor. A pot plant would have had to have been on something such as a shelf or a free standing table...where could it go? Nowhere!

Now what about the theatre group themselves? Where are these people and why were they not in court?
There are ten in the group photo below. There is no mention of how many people comprised this theatre group so we don't know how many people sat around Rolf in the pub. The word 'group' can mean anything from a group of three up to fifty or more. We get the impression it was quite a small group and the only clues are here....
In the clip below Tonya Lee identifies two people from the photograph (below right) who were present on the trip. Lee herself, and the group leader Cathy Henkel make four. In the pub that evening Rolf would have made five. There were probably more than that but the size of the group is not clear. We know that there were at least five.
There are witnesses who Tonya Lee herself identifies as she points them out to Ben McCormack (photo-link below left). These witnesses were in the group that evening in the pub, but they were never sought out nor called to the trial. Only Cathy Henkel was called to give evidence.
Question: WERE THESE PEOPLE QUESTIONED BY THE POLICE?
Question: WHY WERE THESE PEOPLE NOT CALLED TO GIVE EVIDENCE?
