The recent trials
The second trial concluded with one unanimous not guilty verdict, two majority not guilty verdictsand one charge dropped. Therefore Mr Harris is NOT GUILTY of four charges from the second trial. We have no comments yet, but we are posting links to press reports of the trial.
That trial went to retrial on the 15th May 2017. The retrial concluded with the jury becoming deadlocked of which they informed The Judge. The Judge decided not to direct the jury to issue majority verdicts but instead discharged the jury and issued Mr Harris with 'not guilty' verdicts on all counts.
The appeal of trial one was lodged after trial two and awaits a decision from a Judge whether it is to go forward to the three Judge Appeal court.
