I have always thought this was an injustice and believe most of the evidence is fabricated and lies.
But let's suppose Rolf did carry out some of these assaults, does it deserve 6 years in prison?, which sadly for Rolf is probably a life sentence?
At the same time that Rolf went down, two Cambodian generals, the same age as Rolf, were sentenced to life imprisonment for the mass murder of millions of Cambodians. Is that just?
Justice goes beyond a countries sometimes very silly laws, which are often manipulated to suit the rich, the establishment and of course the mind boggling greed of the legal fraternity.
Justice we all know is much deeper than that, it is about fairness, decency and humanity.
Is there anyone out there who is brave enough to stand up against this modern day witch hunt?
Standing up against the witch hunt is a difficult and dangerous game for two reasons. First, to get your voice heard you need to get yourself into the press, but the press are party to it. Second, anybody who makes a noise may be targeted themselves. The police are so corrupt and hugely powerful because they have the power of the corrupt press behind them. This is evidenced by the helicopter flying over Cliff Richards house days after Rolf was sentenced.
It's all gone very quiet regarding Cliff but I understood he was suing the BBC.
Read an interesting article today in the Times by Daniel Finklestein.
Alas, never a believer in British Justice being above others...or independant.

From my own workings of 'independent authorities' most are beholden to career, dosh, influence. Sad,but true
